Innersight Bridges Program
Students often encounter many barriers in connecting with mental health services whether it be transportation, long wait lists, out of network insurance, high copays or deductibles.
The Bridge Program is FULLY funded by the district with no out of pockets cost to the family and a direct line and connection to a therapist while in school. We are here in the best interest your child and will do everything we can to ensure the right level of treatment and care.
Greater Latrobe, Derry Area, Penn Trafford and Norwin Emotional Support have partnered with Innersight LLC’s Bridges Program to provide counseling services in school cost free to identified students.
Therapists offer short-term individual counseling to students, as well as small group counseling. Skill areas that may be addressed in these settings include: Friendship and Social Skills; Dealing with Anger, Anxiety, Sadness or Loss; Learning Self Control; Improving Self Esteem; Leadership Skills; Art Therapy; and Making Responsible Choices.
Parents/guardians or school staff may refer students for counseling, or students may request counseling for themselves. School Counseling services are short-term services aimed at the more effective education and socialization of a child within the school community. These services are not intended as a substitute for diagnosis or treatment for any mental health disorder or considered a duplication of services to outpatient therapy.
